SKY SHIELD SERVICES LLC was formed in 2025. The owner, Tim, began his career journey as a pilot in New Jersey's own, Mercer County Community College Aviation Flight Technology program. This is still the only 2 year, AABI accredited aviation flight technology program in the country. Tim became certified as a Commercial/Instrument rated pilot and added a FAA Flight Instructor certificate for Single Engine Land Airplane (SEL). He earned complex/high performance and aerobatic endorsements.

After earning his A.A.S. in Aviation Flight Technology, Tim would go on to complete his bachelor's degree at Thomas Edison State University (Human Services with Major in Administration of Justice). Life had thrown a curveball, and he altered his career path to answer a calling to government service during President Bill Clinton's 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act crime bill. This bill strived to put 100,000 new cops on the streets, from various backgrounds. Tim competed for and became a cadet at Gloucester County Police Academy in the very first Alternate Route Police Academy program in 1995. Upon graduation, he was hired by the United States Secret Service and began training immediately to be assigned at the White House during President Clinton's first term.

Tim would go on to eventually retire from a 28-year law enforcement career. His nearly 3 decades of experience included 20 years as a Senior Federal Agent from the Department of Homeland Security (Federal Air Marshal Service), 5 years as United States Secret Service Uniformed Division Officer at the White House, and 3 Years as a Sheriff's Investigator in Camden County, NJ. Tim held assignments in a Special Investigations Unit, Fugitive Unit, Intelligence Unit, New Jersey State Police High Technology Crimes Task Force, DHS VIPR Team, and FAMS Special Mission Coverages. Tim was trained by Motorola as a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Officer/Technician and graduated Secret Service Firearms Instructor specialized training.

Today, Tim still serves in a security role with a specialized security agency protecting religious institutions. He performs duty as a training cadre officer, conducts Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk assessments (TVRAs), and flies drones in both security roles and for a Candian based solar survey company. Tim also holds a red card NJ SORA security license and can handle your unique security needs.

no matter how simple or how complex the task, we want to do the job! We fill the needs of people and organizations that need drones as part of their operations but don't want to have the burden of keeping up on FAA regulations, maintaining an sUAS program with a pilot core of their own, and purchasing expensive drone equipment.
